Development orientation of Vietnam's seaweed industry
The seaweed industry is receiving special attention from the Government, with the development orientation to become a large-scale, industrial, synchronous, efficient and sustainable commodity production industry. Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien gave speech at the conference On December 2, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) coordinated with the People's Committee of Phu Yen province to organize a conference on tasks and solutions to develop Vietnam's seaweed industry. According to the Directorate of Fisheries, seaweed is a group of low-level plants with enormous economic value.
